APPEARANCE;
Robert is a handsome man with dark, curly brown hair like his mother's. His facial structure is certainly a cross between both of his parents and there's no denying his likeness to either of them. Robert's eyes are the same grey-blue that his father's were. Whereas they once held a boyish, troublesome gleam to them, Robert's eyes now hold nothing but contempt and seriousness.
HISTORY;
Robert Fairhaven was the first child of Sophia and Henry Fairhaven. He was the only child that survived past birth and therefore the only heir to the throne of Valterra. This perhaps seemingly unsubstantial detail set the foundation for his entire life. As a boy, he was constantly followed by guards... and constantly evading their detection to run off on his own. Lessons on history, reading and writing were an absolute must no matter how distasteful he found them. The one thing that the young prince did take a liking to, however was fencing and combative training. With a bit of practice, he was a natural with the blade, but seeing as he was young, there was still plenty of room for improvement. Though his archery had once been dismal, Robert trained day and night until he bested even the most skilled of the older trainees.
If it hadn't been for his parents' insisting, then Robert probably never would have continued his studies. According to his father though, if he ever wanted to be a right and proper king, then these burdens were a necessity. As he grew older, Robert studied more and more to appease his parents, though he did so with reluctance. At a certain point in his life, Robert started chasing the ladies.
He was a lady's man with a different woman in his bed every week. Some were virgins who must have thoughts that he actually loved them while others were a little more experienced. Robert never meant a single one of them any harm and he was always the gentleman... but nor did he truly love any of them. He merely showed them a good time when they showed him a good time. Some he would go back to while others he would simply let fade away.
His father was no fool and encouraged Robert every waking hour to give up on his fantasy of spending his life between the legs of a woman and to step up to his duties. Not once did Robert listen to his father about this. He simply didn't understand in Robert's eyes. Of course Robert was wrong. His father understood all too well; he just never believed it.
Finally the day came that Robert set aside his fool hardy ways and his boyish fantasies. Unfortunately, that was the day that his father was murdered by the king of Errigal: a cruel man whom Robert wanted nothing more than to cut out his heart and pound on it with a hammer. It was a time for grief, though Robert did not shed a single tear. The moment that King Henry died, a piece of Robert died as well. He became withdrawn and uncaring, sinking into a world of contempt and seriousness. After all, it was just what his father had wanted all along, now wasn't it? Now, Prince Robert concentrates primarily on his studies, politics and combative strategies. Having taken command of Valterra's army, the prince sees to it that his kingdom is taken care of, working alongside his mother.
